LIFE INSURANCE PREMIUM FINANCING
PFA – Premium Finance Associates has teamed up with AFW Financial Group and Equities First Holdings to form a strategic partnership in addressing the life insurance financing needs for high net worth individuals as well as Company Owned Life Insurance (COLI). The financial markets have hit crisis levels in the recent months which has caused concern in the life insurance markets globally. Until recently many life insurance policies were funded and secured by the policy itself, and many hybrid programs requiring only 25-50% collateral abound.
In today’s market, the policy premium loan normally requires full collateralization. PFA has aligned itself with capable partners who are flexible in the collateral requirements. We utilize Equities First Holdings in a variety of ways but mainly for their expertise in equities of publically traded entities. We can convert a variety of assets to equities which can then be loaned against with very competitive rates providing efficient liquidity and resulting in a diversification of assets for the client. This strategy also provides some protection from a further equity market downturn.
AFW Financial Group, analyzes the client’s financial position, creates and/or adjusts the life insurance structure to more efficiently meet the client’s requirements, assists in freeing “dead assets” for the client, and structures the premium financing for the client. This approach is holistic in that all of the client’s assets are reviewed and opportunities for efficient liquidity are uncovered to help the client post needed collateral for premium finance. In most cases, AFW is able help the client find assets that can be more efficiently utilized.
